If eKnitterFlash cannot see eKnitter
If the flash tool cannot find eKnitter, the most common reasons are a missing USB driver, the wrong cable, a charging-only cable, or a USB connection that was not detected correctly.
If the cable is not connected correctly.
If the USB cable is not connected correctly, or your computer cannot see the eKnitter board, eKnitterFlash will show a message like this.
- Install the Silicon Labs USB to UART driver if needed.
- Use the correct USB data cable: Micro USB for KH 910, USB-C for KH 930 / KH 940.
- Make sure you are not using a charging-only cable.
- Unplug the USB cable, wait a moment, and plug it in again.
- Try another USB port on your laptop.
- Close eKnitterFlash and start it again.
