I’d like to see more controls for the knitting field. For example, defining both the start and end needles so that I can knit an incomplete pattern repeat and fully control the placement on the needle bed.

Thanks for sharing your idea — I just need a bit more detail to understand what you mean. eKnitter works similar to the original Brother machines: You define a pattern area, which does not have to match your knitting area. Your second suggestion is correct. I mean cropping a motif: cutting off the left, right, or both edges, to knit an area smaller than my pattern area, or to knit .5 repeats or 1.5 repeats. I understand that I can do this outside eknitter by creating a custom png file, but it would be nice to also have that functionality… Read more »
