This special stitch is inspired by a beautiful design I discovered on Sophie’s Instagram — and she kindly allowed me to share it here.

I love how simple it is to knit, yet how rich and elegant it looks.
It has a soft brioche-style structure, and when you use a slightly thicker weaving yarn, it even creates a lovely bubble-knit effect.
