eKnitter speaks DesignaKnit

eKnitter + DesignaKnit 9: A Powerful New Connection

We’re excited to announce that DesignaKnit 9 will soon offer native support for eKnitter — making it easier than ever for Brother knitters to enjoy a modern, wireless workflow.

What is eKnitter?

eKnitter is a certified hardware upgrade for the Brother KH910, KH950, and KH950i. It replaces the original main board with a modern upgrade — built for today’s knitters.

  1. A modern upgrade for the KH910 or KH950.
  2. A practical solution for KH950i machines that need a replacement main circuit board (which is becoming harder to find).

How Does eKnitter Work Today?

Currently, eKnitter is delivered with open-source software that lets you send pixel-based patterns over Wi-Fi — no cables, no fuss. Just upload an image file and knit.

With the upcoming firmware update for your eKnitter, you’ll also be able to use your eKnitter directly with your purchased DesignaKnit software — no extra steps or converters needed.

Hi,
I’m so excited about this news.
When will be the firmware update, it will be free?
You will sell the program DesignaKnit or I have to buy to Softbyte?
Congratulations on the development and updates!
Thanks!
