If your display stays blank and no LED lights appear on the eKnitter board, the board is not receiving power.

  • Check the S1 connection.
  • Make sure the jumper is set correctly — the position is different for internal and external power supply.

6. I see a stripe pattern?

We highly recommend using your eKnitter only when the machine is fully closed. Exposed electronics can easily lead to a short circuit. If this happens, parts of the eKnitter board may be damaged, often resulting in a visible stripe pattern. If you encounter this issue, please contact us — we can provide guidance on how to repair it.

7. My eKnitter buttons don’t work. What should I do?

This usually means the wrong Wi-Fi password was saved. You can tell because the LED on the controller stays red.

To fix this:

  1. Reset the eKnitter – Follow the reset instructions in your manual or watch the reset video linked there.
  2. Reconnect with the correct password – After the reset, enter your correct Wi-Fi password when prompted.
  3. Video How to reset your eKnitter
