I was able to have success today knitting with my garter carriage! It did have a small glitch though: close to the hall sensor eknitter recognizes G carriage, but if I move it closer to the center of the bed to start next to my knitting area it changes to K or L and I have to go back to the sensor and start again. If I begin knitting from the sensor area and the G carriage moves across the empty needles on its own it works fine, but if I lift the carriage to start next to a smaller central knitting area (40 stitches or so) it is identified as K or L.

I am away from my machine at the moment, but as I recall… Needles -19 through 43 in working position, machine on, garter carriage (KG88-II) placed on the machine from the right. Eknitter displays G correctly as the carriage passes the hall sensor on right and for about 10 needles on the right side of the bed. Eknitter displays K-L-K-L… Read more »
